Ended up going with the standby, black, J. Crew dress (saved the day!) and patent-leather, pink, peep-toe pumps from Rack Room. Necklace is, again, vintage from S.A.M. (Staunton Antique Market).

Love this dress

I have owned this beautiful, Calvin Klein (via Ross) dress for over a year now and am still waiting for the perfect occasion for it to make it's debut. I thought I would wear it for Katie and Jamin's wedding but decided to go with the black and hot pink theme instead. Any ideas? Are the shoes too much?

 

PS. Don't mind me posing in my kitchen after a work-out...
PPS. I wish it had pockets!
